Which Five Oaks collection fits your household?

Compare the three townhome and three detached collections by space, layout and flexibility.

By Team Arora · October 22, 2026

Start with how you need the home to work

The six collections offer more than a change in square footage. Begin with the number of people living together, how you use shared rooms and whether a separate living arrangement matters to your household. Then compare individual floor plans rather than relying on the widest bedroom range advertised for a collection.

Three different approaches to townhome living

Ashford Towns are the smallest collection, advertised at 1,388–1,532 square feet. The 24-foot collection offers 2,545–2,773 square feet, including finished basement recreation space in the supplied pricing material. Advantage Townhomes are advertised at 2,552–2,633 square feet and include two-in-one configurations with a legal secondary suite and dedicated entrances. The area figures describe different layouts; compare the drawings floor by floor.

Detached homes: compare the model, then its options

The 40-foot collection centres on the Starling Corner. The 42-foot range includes Swift, Merlin and Whitewing designs; the 50-foot range includes Skylark, Sandhill and Goldcrest designs. Selected packages add loft, elevator or secondary-suite configurations. An option shown in one model is not automatically available in another, and the lot must accommodate the design.

Check what is included in the quoted area

The detached price sheets include finished basement recreation space in their square-footage figures. Read the area note on the individual drawing before comparing it with a resale listing or a home from another builder. Above-grade living space, finished basement space and optional additions should be compared separately.

Use closing dates to narrow the choice

The supplied October 20 sheets list Ashford closings in September–October 2028, 24-foot closings in October 2028 and listed Advantage closings in March 2029. These are recorded lot dates, subject to change. Ask for the current availability sheet and specific closing date before planning your move.
